FIELD SURVEY PROCESS

  • We provide filed assessment, concept, proposal drawings and installation

At the request of a Grainger Account Manager, The Thomas Companies will schedule and perform a field survey for the client.

The Survey will include; listening and taking notes as to the clients ideas, intentions and particular requirements.

During the site visit, field measurements will be taken as well as existing product assessment should the client wish to re-use or repurpose existing equipment and products.

After the site visit a survey report will be delivered to the Grainger account manager to share with their client. This report will include our understanding of the clients wants and needs, product recommendations and a CONCEPT drawing to help illustrate the overall plan that we propose to meet their requirements.

The concept drawing is for illustration and can act as a working drawing, easily changed in response to the clients review and comments.

Grainger can provide qualified quotes for the new products, drawings from the manufacturers, estimated freight costs and installation services provided by The Thomas Companies.

Detailed APPROVAL drawings will then be provided by the individual product manufacturers for the clients final review and acceptance.
